On Wednesday the 11th December, Owenbeg National School was filled with festive cheer as we hosted our much-anticipated Christmas play, “Straw and Order.” And what a show it was! The children truly shone, delivering incredible performances filled with brilliant acting and heartwarming singing that left the audience amazed.
The night was made even more special by a fantastic raffle, featuring a range of excellent prizes. The excitement in the room was contagious as tickets were drawn and lucky winners collected their prizes.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this wonderful event. Whether you attended the play, helped with costumes, decorated the school, donated raffle prizes, or bought raffle tickets—you made this evening a resounding success. Your generosity and community spirit are what make Owenbeg and Easkey such a special place to live and learn.
