Child Protection Procedures at Owenbeg N.S.
At Owenbeg National School, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students. We follow strict child protection procedures to create a safe learning environment. A copy of our Child Safeguarding Statement is available from the school office on request.
All of our teachers are mandated persons under the Children First Act 2015. This means they are legally required to report any child protection or welfare concerns to the appropriate authorities.
The Designated Liaison Person is a resource to any staff member or volunteer who has a child protection or welfare concern.
