In September, our students had an amazing hands-on experience, cooking with fresh produce from our school garden! Ms. Gibson’s class harvested potatoes, carrots, onions, and kale . The Senior Room used these to whip up a delicious Farmhouse Vegetable Soup
, while the Junior Room learned how to measure, mix, and bake their own soda bread
.
It was a fantastic day of learning, showing how fun and rewarding it is to grow and cook your own food. And the best part? Everything tasted incredible!
